About BURMESE HOT BOWL
BURMESE HOT BOWL is a burmese restaurant in Carrboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 100 W Main St, Carrboro, NC 27510, which places it among the local businesses of Carrboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Carrboro, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Carrboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Carrboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wow, I'm really impressed with the lamb curry and stir fry corn I got from the food truck. The owners, a lovely couple who run the business, were super friendly and nice. I definitely plan on returning!

I have been here twice now and have been amazed each time! The service is delightful and the food leaves me feeling nourished! The prices are more than fair and it is the perfect take out for when I want a comforting and nourishing meal but donβt have energy to cook. I have been able to try the beef, chicken, and lamb curries as well as the grilled fish salad. Each of the curries were wonderful! The meat was beautifully tender and well seasoned, but not so fatty that it made my stomach hurt. I usually get either the brussel sprouts or green beans and they are fresh, crisp, and well seasoned. Nothing but love for this place and I am so excited to have this spot in my rotation!

The chef is super passionate about his cooking and I love that. They have a couple of vegetarian options which is good, I just wish there was more vegetables or variety. My meat eating friend really loved their meal though. The coconut curry is a fantastic flavor, I'll come back when I'm passing through on foot again.

We found this by accident when looking for Burmese food. It just opened this weekend and is totally delicious. I ordered the chicken curry with coconut rice and all the sides, everything was so good. The chicken was great and a very healthy portion. I did not realize there was lemongrass at first. We loved the coconut rice. Of the sides, the corn was my fiancee's favorite while the brussel sprouts were mine. Can't wait to come back and order the other meats. Parking was very easy here, and I liked that it's walking distance to many local hangout spots in Carrboro. Will be back soon!
